View and manage YubiKey Device ID mapping

Unisphere for PowerMax supports MFA YubiKey. YubiKey is a hardware device that provides authentication/One Time Password (OTP) for multi-factor authentication. YubiKey is a small USB security key that protects access to configured devices.

Prerequisites

You must be a Security Admin or Admin to perform this task.

You must have a YubiKey fob.

You have created a local user that plans to use YubiKey.

About this task

NOTE: YubiKey MFA and RSA MFA are mutually exclusive.

Steps

  1. Select Settings icon.
  2. Select Security > YubiKey Device ID Mapping.

    The following properties display:

    • Username—Username
    • YubiKey Device ID—YubiKey device identifier

    The following controls are available:

    • Attach Device ID—allows you to add a username and attach one or more device IDs. The device ID can be typed in, copied and pasted from the YubiKey fob, or entered by clicking the fob.
    • Modify Device ID—allows you to modify the attached device IDs.
    • Remove Device ID—allows you to remove device IDs.
